TDT1 Task 3
Purpose: The purpose of this video is to show students how to add or subtract fractions with different denominators. This video will strategically discuss the steps from beginning to end on how to solve the problems. It will trigger prior knowledge and encourage students to use real world experiences. By the end of the video, students will know how to add or subtract fractions with different denominators. In addition, the video is a great resource for students who need additional help or those who were absent. They are able to work at their own pace and rewind to a certain spot to look at the steps again. After viewing the video, students should be able to answer 8 out 10 word problems containing fractions with different denominators correctly. Without the aid of notes, students should also know how to find the LCM (least common multiple) and create equivalent fractions.
